Presented by Insurance Marketing Agencies (IMA)

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Rhode Island Brewers Guild is proud to announce that the Rhode Island Brewers Conference, presented by Insurance Marketing Agencies (IMA), will be returning for its second year on Monday, October 20 at Farm Fresh RI in Providence.

Following the resounding success of last year’s inaugural event, the 2025 Rhode Island Brewers Conference is crafted to educate and elevate the Ocean State’s craft beer industry members. This full-day event will bring together brewers, industry professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs for an inspiring day of education, collaboration and community-building. The conference will feature a robust lineup of technical sessions, business development panels and networking opportunities - designed to empower breweries of all sizes and stages.

A highlight of this year’s program will be a keynote address by Sean Lawson, founder of Lawson’s Finest Liquids, whose leadership and innovation have made him a nationally respected figure in craft brewing and community engagement.

"In the ever-evolving craft beer industry, the Rhode Island Brewers Conference serves as an anchor event in the Guild’s mission to strengthen and support Rhode Island's breweries," said Nils Weldy, Executive Director of the Rhode Island Brewers Guild.

"Pocketing several actionable insights to solve for both business operations and technical brewing challenges is what attendees can expect to take with them thanks to the expertise that will be delivered from this year's crop of nationally renowned speakers," Weldy continued.

Business operations programming highlights include a talk on "Timeless Taproom Tactics" by Chris Farmand from Small Batch Standard and a presentation by Julie Rhodes from Not Your Hobby Marketing that will delve into "The One-Person Marketing Team: How to Build a Scalable Brewery Brand Without Huge Overhead".

On the technical side of Rhode Island Brewers Conference presentations, brewers and brewery operations directors will learn from Justin Slotnick and Ryan Murphy from Schilling Beer Co. who will reveal best brewing and cellaring practices in order to "Build a Consistent and Quality Lager Program" and Heather McReynolds from Hopsteiner will be joined by three RI brewers to share learnings from a cutting-edge, solvent-free liquid hop extract project.

Rhode Island Brewers Guild members receive discounted registration as well as breweries that are members of their respective state guild. Registration is live now.
